All of the below are either legal things you need to know or answers to questions repeatedly asked by you, the fans, over my career. More will be added as they arise. Thanks, guys! HISTORY:
I began amateur modeling in 1988, and made a serious go of it in 1995. By 1999, I owned one of the first internet radio stations in the world, and hosted 3 internet radio shows where for years I was hailed an internet sex symbol. I came out as a geek in '05 when I co-hosted the FIRST EVER internet talk show on Gaming, Dark Dungeons. During and since, I've done stage acting, radio advertising, and voice acting as well. I came to DA for a fresh start in '08. While there are photos from that past, I continue creating my present on my terms. 2012 marked my busiest year (until now) and introduced a new photographer, Gino, and while 2013 saw his departure, 2014 saw the big bang. Now, I model for my own, budding clothing company, as well as for fun here at DA. I have a show on YouTube, a Fan Club, and a multitude of social media hotspots.COPYRIGHT LAW:

I've receive so many messages featuring the *same* messages over the decades, that a F.A.Q. became necessary. I no longer answer any questions that are answered here in this F.A.Q.
People who post to every picture can expect not to get a reply to every post, so please feel no need to comment on every photo you favorite. However, if you do comment often, just know that I reply to as many posts as I can & I *do* read every message. Being that this page is here for artists, and I *legally* require artists to contact me before using my photos, I will reply to them with priority. If you really want to contact me, I am VERY active on my Fan Club and "Mind of the Model" Google Page. I also have a page for Snazzy Pants, I'm also on Twitter and Pinterest.
I understand English is a second language for many on D.A., so instead of prioritizing perfect English, I keep an eye out for those who attempt *their best* grammar and spelling. It shows that you care about your message, and that matters. It's nothing I don't expect of myself, even when attempting other languages.
I am nigh impossible to offend. I have only two things that offend me, and I likely won't ban anyone for them (I'm huge on free speech). I've found that I only block people for two reasons
: Trolling or Stalking.
I've always been professional and kept my personal life out of my modeling. I won't share family life, sexual orientation, thoughts on religion, political interest, etc. As always, while it's a compliment to be asked, I am not here to find a date.
You can get autographed prints one of three ways: 1. You can approach me at a Gaming or SciFi convention, such as GenCon, DragonCon, or MarsCon, and I'll be happy to sign something for you and even have photos with you. 2: Win a contest, such as the "Sugar and Spikes" contest of February 2012. Or 3
: Get them in a ongoing contest on my show, "Caught On Video", running right now.
In January, 2015, I'll turn 41. (Here's
a photo of me, *pretty* much
how I am everyday, 3 months to my birthday.) I generally forget my age until I'm asked... and then I have to do math
. I don't relate to the number at all, nor am I defined by it. I've just always made sure to look my best at all times and, well, act how I feel, which keeps me centered squarely in the present. Needless to say, I plan to be around another 4 decades or so - more would be good.
With the exception of tattoos, I haven't had ANY
work done on any part of my body. Everything you see on this D.A. page, on me, is 100% real and unmodified
. Further, I despise using Photoshop, and keep it to the minimum - mostly photo quality and lighting.
Keep in mind that some Morph Artists, with my permission, have altered me on their personal pages
, and those go in my favorites as well. Anything in my galleries here or on my
or Tattoo Blog sites, however, is how I really, naturally,
look or have looked in the past.
I will not reveal my weight because I don't believe weight is a relevant or accurate means of description. It means different things to different people, since people differ in proportion. Weight in pounds cannot tell you where the pounds are held, or how they're carried.
My measurements have varied up and down throughout my career, and I make any size work. I will say that in October, 2013 I was, and had been, 50-40-50 & 40I for some time. However, through most of Oct. and in November, 2013 I was losing 1 pound a day. This levelled off in January, and in April 4, 2014, I am steady at 46-34-44 & 38K. FASHION:
While my focus has changed from creative modeling to modeling for my clothing company, I still intend to do my creative, ever-changing style when I have time.
My real hair, as of October 12, 2014, was a baby pink pink as seen here
, though it varies in shades of cherry reds, and purple depending on how I choose to nudge it. Thank Manic Panic for giving me cool colors to play Mad Scientist with.
For actual photos of my natural hair color, here's my Mugshot: honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…
Ye OLDE covered cross tattoo. You asked... a lot, so here's a clear shot: honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…
(The Full-view, or Download view will help you see it much better.) I had it covered it over for my birthday in 2014. HERE
is a clear photo of the new version, though the coffee cup is obscured.
You can visit my Tattoo Blog
to see the tattoo process, and more here, obviously, as they come.
The nails. The NAILS: Between 2000-2003 I kept my nails appx. 2
inches long. Photo from '01: honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…
The longest point was during the Witchy and Dead Bride Galleries when I grew them to 2 1/2 inches for that Halloween, 2000. Photo: honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…
However, in 2013, and years before, they've settled about here: honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…
The corset. honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…
It was a real, handmade, steel-boned corset, made to measurement - not a cheap one you can get at an everyday lingerie store. It was constructed for the purpose of waist training, like ladies did in the 19th century. Through 2005, I trained down in it, always lacing in the waist more tightly. I was in my corset 12 hours a day, and I slept in a spandex "sleeping corset" overnight until I achieved a 19 inch difference from chest to waist and 17 inches from waist to hips. The 2005 galleries feature it worn properly. I sold this during my Tattoo Donation Sale.
The shoes. Most of the time I wear a 9 but in the case of a sandal it *might*, on rare occasion, be an 8 1/2. It depends on the shoe. My shoe here
. I used to wear only heels, but lately I've severely taken to favoring military boots.
The feet. Over 2012-2013 my feet have gotten a lot of attention, so I've made a point to have barefoot shoots during that time. In fact, in many galleries where I am not barefoot, I've removed my shoes for a shot or two. While you will see more "on purpose" barefoot photos over '12-13, there are even some, here and there, going back to 1996. Will I photograph only my feet? No. That'd be like showing only my hands. It's all part of the whole. However, I'll make sure they're in there when it fits the scene.
The smoking. fav.me/d4xpclu
Yes, yes, I love taking pictures with cigars, hookahs, etc. I find images of smoking women so very sexy and so I love to capture it when I can. I don't personally smoke, since anyone in my family who does, dies way early, but it was so very relaxing for me. SO... imagine my excitement when the non-nicotine, non-tobacco electric hookahs came out. Say what you want, it's vapor, and as a non-smoker... I love it.
The bikini. I've gotten a lot of people ask about bikini photos and this is the closest thing: honeymodel.deviantart.com/art/…PRINCIPALS:
I don't do nudes. Not out of prudishness or insecurity as much as I find them forgettable. It's the principal of the strip-tease vs. the stipper. With the stripper, once the clothes are off, the show is over. Everything has been seen that there is to see. I can, and do, move on. The strip-tease, however, has one lingering on baited breath. For that reason, I find that leaving some to the imagination, waiting for a hint of something more, *much* more titillating, much more memorable, and terribly sexier. I don't do requests, even paid ones
. I'd considered it, but I won't say yes to something I'll never have time for. That's not fair to anyone. I always have too many ideas on the back-burner. On *rare* occasion, my ideas coincide with others', so you will see some reference poses in my Scraps folde
r. Feel free to throw ideas at me, though. Your thoughts have been known to influence my shots on occasion. Also
, keep in mind that I do have nearly 100 galleries of photos to chose from providing they are used with permission. What I do is *not* Cosplay
. What you see is the same thing I've done my whole life, long before the term existed
. Cosplay is precisely replicating an existing television or movie character. While I have been known to do *twists* on my silver screen inspirations, the twist
is the important thing. My goal is not to exactly replicate them, but more to "tip my hat to them".
I am not an advocate of size-acceptance. One, because the average size of the American woman is a 14 and historically always has been. honeymodel.deviantart.com/jour…
. Two, size isn't anything special
. Praise should be about WHO we are and WHAT we do. Third, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, I do not approve of any movement which requires approval or validation from an outside source - for anything. I am an advocate of *self-acceptance*, because that requires no one outside of yourself, and *nobody* can give that to you or take it away. (See my journal "Why Not BBW?" Here: honeymodel.deviantart.com/jour…
For me, size is entirely irrelevant to every aspect of my life.
I've accepted that, as a model, one has to accept that they will be objectified. That is the contract you enter into by presenting yourself in a two-dimensional forum. The picture is all the audience has to know you by, and *it's okay* that it's appreciated for what it is. By all means. - What I find disturbing is when people attempt to shame and dissuade models from showing their bodies, like it'a a bad, disrespectful thing. That is the only kind of objectification I can't stand: the kind that comes in the name of "feminism".
See my show "Caught on Video"
if you want to know me. Someone said I just had to let my personality show... so I did.
This F.A.Q. will be updated as needed.
"Hear ye! Hear ye! The jury has deliberated and the verdict is in: Honey is guilty of being hotter than a chili pepper (back when they had their original guitar player, that is)! ...And if you don't think modeling is an aesthetic talent, go visit her online portfolio and then consider debating the issue with me."
